Ten Bits Ranch has some of the best views of the famous Big Bend stars. Since Ten Bits Ranch is completely off grid and located on 550 private acres, there are no close neighbors and no ground lights to obscure the perfectly dark night sky. The amazing solitude is extremely quiet and peaceful day or night. If you come to Ten Bits Ranch when the moon cycle is low (dark), after 20 minutes (for your eyes to adjust), the stars at Ten Bits Ranch will appear to surround you like a blanket. Be sure to watch for shooting stars. There is a shooting star in view at Ten Bits Ranch almost every week.
Ten Bits Ranch offers a truly private, unique, off grid, old west Town, dark sky star gazing experience that few people have the opportunity to see in person. The craggy Chimney Rock Mountain on Ten Bits Ranch blocks out a beautiful black jagged silhouette in the blanket of stars. Well-behaved pets are welcome at Ten Bits Ranch. Hike and explore at your leisure with both your two- and four-legged friends. Thank you for considering Ten Bits Ranch for your Big Bend Adventure. Wherever you choose to stay, the Big Bend area is a wild, unique, and a truly beautiful place that is well worth the trip.
